During the week of SXSW in Austin Texas there's one place to meet, network and experience urban eclectic music ranging from R&B to Soul to jazz to Funk, Afrobeat, House and Latin Soul and that's at The Rendezvous presented by Urban Eclectic Internet Radio Station, RhythmAndSoulRadio.com at the people’s favorite venue in Austin, Texas, Flamingo Cantina.

It's a Day Party, It's A Meet & Greet, It's where you can see an All-Star Lineup of Independent artists. The Rendezvous features music from the DJ's of RhythmAndSoulRadio.com, Live Broadcast All Day on the station and live performances from insanely talented independent artists from around the country.

Alex Harris - Singer, actor, and philanthropist, Alex Harris has not only headlined his own shows, but has graced stages with entertainers and actors, such as Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Bobby Rush, Eric Benet, John Legend, Kirk Franklin, Lamman Rucker, Leon and many others. As his artistry developed from 7 years old until this present day, his audience continues to expand along with his gifts and talents. Alex Harris has a growing following world-wide that are captivated by his electrifying and soulful performances. His polished lyrical styling and dynamic energy is a breath of fresh air with a very earthy twist that transcends time and musical genres. Harris has performed at two of the Presidential Inaugural Galas, for the Premier of Bermuda Gala, Prime Minister of Ireland Gala and many other prestigious galas, schools, colleges, corporate events, and festivals world-wide.

Ansherea - Ansherea has been singing since she was a child and became a professional artist immediately following graduation from high school. Ansherea attended the Denver School of the Arts where she majored in Theater with a minor in Vocal Music. She has sung the national anthem for the mayoral inauguration, Colorado Rockies, American Volleyball League and the National Hispanic Institute. When Ansherea was a gospel artist, she had the opportunity to perform on stages with Tamela Mann, Marvin Sapp, Crystal Rucker and a host of otherartists. Now as a R&B/Soul artist, her sound, lyrics, and melodies allow her to deliver in a style all her own! Ansherea has released her latest single called “Have A Good Day”. By the summer of 2023, she will be releasing her full project.

Jessie Laine Powell - Whether you enjoy the R&B, Jazz, or soulful arrangements in her sound, Jessie aims to leave her fans feeling renewed and motivated as she takes you on a intimate musical journey. Jessie’s lyrics to speak to your heart and mind and bring joy through her uplifing music. I help bring wellness to the spirit, body and soul! Her professional career started at the age of 14. Now with over 40 years in the music industry her passion and drive to bring quality music to the world is on high alert. After having been blessed to travel the globe singing, my heart's desire is to now help heal our world through her gift. Jessie created the "Tru-Fan Experence", doing online zoom performances and reaching out to as many people to uplift and encourage them and she welcomes the "Tru Fans" to to live in person shows as well to share the uplifting power of music.

Kea Michaels - Since 2017, independent Soul singer/songwriter KEA (Kea Michaels) has been steadily building a devoted following over the global Urban Adult Contemporary airwaves with a series of well-received singles reflecting her soul-piercing / heart-penetrating musical perspectives on agape love, romance and heartbreak. It’s no wonder her forthcoming EP is titled Relationships, a subject she plumbs with much sensitivity, candor and feminine introspection. With each successive release of her singles “iLove You,” “Not My Friend” and a highly distinct remake of Smokey Robinson’s classic “Being with You,” KEA has made her fresh mature presence felt on the tastemaker charts of America and the U.K.

Mavis SWAN Poole - Mavis SWAN Poole is an Award winning Jazz, Soul/RnB, Gospel, & Reggae Singer Songwriter who’s worked w Lauryn Hill, Prince, Sheryl Crow, The Heavy, Gladys Knight, Roy Hargrove, The Wailers, Shirley Caesar, & Mavis Staples. She’s performed @ Coachella, Essence, Jazz In The Garden. TV-‘Vinyl’ (HBO), Jimmy Fallon. She is a singer’s singer. Known by many soul and jazz greats for her tremendous vocal stylings, Mavis SWAN Poole has become a sought-after singer, songwriter and bandleader over the past few years. Al Jarreau loved her work and legendary trombonist Curtis Fuller dubbed her “Little Ella.” We first heard Mavis on her fantastic work leading the band Soul Understated. in late 2022 Mavis released her new single “The Assignment” which is the first single from her debut solo LP/EP “Adult Time Volume 1”.

Mike Bennett & The SoulGlo Orchestra - Power-Funk for the People. Mike Bennett & The SoulGlo Orchestra are a blend of classic rock, soul, and indie funk, marinated to perfection in Brooklyn. It's an electric, eclectic, positive vibe party. Formed by Mike Bennett in 2016, SoulGlo is comprised of Akos Forgacs on bass, Mark Bell on drums, Jaquelene Acevedo on percussion, Nandi Kayyy on vocals, Isaac Hernandez on guitar, and Ameer Weston on keys. They released their self-titled EP SoulGlo in January 2017, followed by their two singles Catch My Breath and Natural Selection in July 2017. The band regularly performs in the northeast in New York City.

Quentell - A recent graduate of Prairie View A&M University where he received his B.A. in Mass Communications Quentell recently relocated to the Houston area. He's been singing since he was 7 in church, started writing when he was 11 and began releasing music when he was 19.

All the artists will be backed by the Austin, Texas based band Rollin' Souls.
